An ideal surface for pastel painting, Pastel Premier Sanded Pastel Paper is double-primed and coated with a proprietary aluminum oxide created especially for Hand Book Paper Co. An additional seal-coating makes the surface able to withstand almost any amount of scrubbing and reworking. Pastel Premier works with a wide range of wet media as an under-painting and can accept as many as 25 layers of pastel. Made in the USA from 100% cotton to be archival quality.
