Carmel canvas has a silky smooth surface especially designed to yield a very smooth tooth, which makes it perfect for portraits and fine detail work. The 7oz. raw cotton canvas is sized, then double acrylic primed, giving it a 10.3 oz. finished weight. Stretched using MasterWrap technology, this canvas offers a drum-tight archival surface that can be further adjusted by using the pre-installed corner and brace keys. Folded corners and extra canvas selvage allow for re-stretching, and the clean staple free edges look great for display without a frame. Solid, finger-joint free, kiln-dried bars are milled with lumber harvested from sustainable forests in Oregon and California. Key-able cross bracing offers additional strength, stability and warp resistance.
