Many artists and creative people have lost all of their belongings in the October 2017 Wildfire Disaster in the North Bay. This program has been created to help those people and families. Hopefully this program will provide some form of relief and happiness through their healing and rebuilding process.

Rileystreet Art Supply will be extending the discounts listed below to any person or family that has lost their home during the North Bay Wildfire Disaster.

40%OFF all regular priced items (storewide)
60%OFF all open stock artist brushes
70%OFF all stretched canvas
35%OFF all discounted paint prices

All discounts will be good until February 28th, 2018.

This program is only for people that have lost their homes and belongings. We will ask for a name, address and phone number. No information will be used for any sort of marketing or advertising. We are sorry to have to ask for the address, but unfortunately there are actually people out there that will try to abuse this program.

If you have any questions about this program please feel free to call us at 707-526-2416(santa rosa) or 415-457-2787(san rafael) or email info@rileystreet.com.

DIDN’T LOSE EVERYTHING BUT WANT TO HELP THOSE THAT DID?

We have had many calls from all over wanting information on how to help creatives that have lost everything in the fire. There are several ways that Rileystreet can assist in this.

1. If you would like to support a specific person you may either buy store credit or gift certificates for the individual. This is better than buying specific art materials being the affected individual will be extended the above discounts we are offering.

2. If you would like to support a general group of people, an organization or school that was affected by the fires we suggest buying gift certificates in increments of $20. Rileystreet will in turn distribute these gift certificates to the appropriate people or organization.

If you have any questions about helping those that have been affected by the fires please contact jessica@rileystreet.com

Another way of helping creatives is donating to Creative Sonoma. They are directing their relief efforts towards helping the creative community. Information can be found at creativesonoma.org.

CARDINAL NEWMAN HIGH SCHOOL ART PROGRAM

Cardinal Newman was one of the major schools in our area to be devastated.  Much of the campus has been destroyed including the art department.  We have donated 166 colored pencils sets to get them started again.  At the same time working with some of the instructors on a larger level regarding the overall rebuilding process of the art department.

OPERATION BACKPACK

The Sonoma County Family Y is collecting backpacks, school supplies & lunch boxes to insure the children affected by the recent fires can return to school with new school supplies. We have donated over 200 marker and pencils sets to this project.  Part of our mission to provide art materials to every child who was affected by the fires. #artforeverykid For more information regarding Operation Backpack please visit the Y’s website – www.scfymca.org

THESE ARE ONLY A COUPLE OF THE EFFORTS WE HAVE MADE ON THE WAY TO OUR GOAL OF SUPPLYING ART MATERIALS TO EVERY CHILD THAT WAS DIRECTLY AFFECTED BY THE FIRES IN THE NORTH BAY

WE WOULD ALSO LIKE TO THANK EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT HAS EVER WALKED THROUGH THE DOORS OF RILEYSTREET. WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF OUR CUSTOMERS AND A FEW AMAZING PEOPLE IN THE ART MATERIALS INDUSTRY, THIS EFFORT TO SUPPLY EVERY AFFECTED CHILD MAY NOT HAVE HAPPENED. THANK YOU!
